    Woodworkers

The ML Woodworkers club was started shortly after the park opened.

Residents found that the tools they needed to do their DIY projects were all in their northern homes.

Sensing a need, a group of Mapleleafers got together and, collectively, they donated some of their tools, got donations from park contractors and opened a shop.

Still in its original location, but with a wealth of modern tools, the shop serves the same purpose as it did in the 1970s.

It’s a place where you can go to borrow any tool for which you might have a need.

It also serves as a site where you can work on a project and have access to a variety of well-maintained power woodworking tools.

The club also offers educational workshops on a regular basis to assist members to become more proficient on woodworking tools.

Membership is open to all residents of Maple Leaf.
