  • Fun fact of the day

there are only 3 words in the English language that start with the letters "EL".
  • WHAT IS PICKLE BALL ?

The fastest growing sport in North America, Pickle Ball, with a slower speed and reduced court size compared to other racquet sports, is ideal for seniors. It is not only fun, but easy to learn and easy to play, with sufficient speed and exertion to be physically and mentally stimulating. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes, much like a whiffle ball, and a net similar to but smaller than a tennis net.

    SCHEDULE

The Club plays 9 AM to 6 PM every day on the new pickleball courts near the library.

Play is divided into three categories: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Members are asked to self evaluate and play at the level they determine is best for them. If the level is too easy, move up. If it is too difficult, move down.
