Winter Mixed League – 2015 – 2016

Winter Mixed League plays on Thursday mornings, from early November to late March.

To play in the Mixed League, you must be a member of the Maple Leaf Golf Association. All playing members must have an established handicap. Cost to join the Mixed League is $22.00.

Each week there will be a different game, mostly scrambles, with team net scores. There are four team prizes and four closest to the pin prizes for both men and ladies, by handicap, each week.

During the season there will be a number of special events. There are socials each season as well as “Coffee & Coaching” sessions.

Each social has a theme. The day of the social starts with a special golf game and the theme continues to the social afterwards. Food, fun, prizes and refreshments are all part of these events. Tickets to the social are sold two weeks prior to the event and the cost is very reasonable!

Non-playing spouses/significant others may purchase a social membership entitling them to buy social tickets at the same cost as a playing member. Social membership is $5.00.

The “Coffee and Coaching” sessions include hot coffee and fresh donuts and a coaching session from our Pro. Notice of these sessions will be posted two weeks prior to the event.

Most of our members are couples, but singles are definitely welcome. As a single, you can find your own partner from other Mixed League members or we will pair you up each week.
