Once again, Maple Leaf took home the three following categories in the Charlotte County “Best Of” contest. “Best Golf & Country Club Community”, “Best Golf Course” & “Best Golf Shop” and is ranked #15 in the United States by Golfadvisor for “Best Short Courses”.

Within the walls of this gated community is a beautifully laid-out and landscaped par 62 executive style golf course.

The course is especially attractive for those who want to play a round of golf in 3½ hours – perfect for Florida weather.

Golf lessons are available with our Golf Professional, Nathan Wilson. A half-hour lesson is $50.00, and a series of three, half hour golf lessons for $140.00.

Convenient Location
Maple Leaf is conveniently located in Port Charlotte about half way between Sarasota and Fort Myers at exit 170 on I-75

Beautifully Landscaped

In 2018, the course got a complete make-over. The bunker sand was replaced with “manufactured sand”. The fairways were sprigged with “Celebration Bermudagrass”, and the greens were sprigged with Tifeagle grass – used by most high-end private courses in Florida.

A new irrigation system was also installed in 2018. It has been designed to water the course in the best fashion to allow the grass to thrive, thus providing an even surface to play from.
