  • Audubon Sanctuary

A Certified Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary

Maple Leaf is proud to be a supporter of this great program which encourages protection of our wildlife heritage through environmentally responsible management of our facilities and course maintenance activities.

Bob and Louise Desramaux conducted an Audubon Christmas Bird Count on the golf course in December and identified 37 different species of birds. In counts throughout the year, they identified a total of 68 species.

Our habitat areas, lakes, ponds and creeks make our golf course a home for both year-round species and birds that winter in Florida.

We hope you enjoy identifying the birds within our community!
